The room and refrigeration system work together
A walk-in includes more than the cooling unit. Door seals, closers and room conditions influence the load on the system. Service can address cooling controls, fans, drains and door hardware as well as the refrigeration equipment; the inspection determines which work is needed.
Ice and airflow deserve separate attention
Ice accumulation can restrict airflow, while air leaks and operating conditions can add moisture. Defrost controls, fan operation and drainage may need assessment. Clearing visible ice without finding why it returned can leave the underlying issue unresolved.
